INSTALLATION CEREMONY ON 4TH JULY, 2010.






Hello friends.

The installation ceremony took place at the Rotary Physiotherapy Centre, Vastrapur on 4th July, 2010 at 3pm. Rotaract Club of Ahmedabad West and Rotaract Club of Ahmedabad West (Blind) had their installation ceremony together.
Members from both the club attended the function. Members of Rotary Club of Ahmedabad West, Dist-3050 graced the ocassion by their presence.

The programme began with the Four Way Test by Rtr.Murtuza Contractor. Then the programme was started with a welcome speech by the Outgoing President of our club, Rtr.Joel David accompanied by the Outgoing President of RCAW (Blind), Rtr.Ayaz on the dias. The programme followed with a short introduction speech by each members and non-members present.

Then speech was given by the Outgoing Secretary of both the clubs, myself and Rtr.Mihir. They informed about the supports received by their fellow members, their projects done under the leadership of their respectable President as well as some projects which were left undone due to lack of support from the fellow members of their respective clubs.

The Outgoing President Rtr.Joel David, who is very frank, straight forward and who has been one of the strongest or even if we say, the only strongest pillar of the Rotaract Club of Ahmedabad West, gave a very true, lively and an informative speech about the functioning and loopholes existing on the way of Club's progress in making any dream project success.

The Outgoing President of RCAW (Blind) Rtr.Ayaz, who is a very talented musician/singer informed about the projects which they were able to turn into reality and about those which failed to turn into reality.

Before the installation oath ceremony could take place, one member from both the clubs gave a very true and real picture of their new incoming President. From our club, Rtr.Ami gave such a true and wonderful description about myself, which made me feel proud of having her as the member of our club in my tenure of Presidentship. From RCAW (Blind), Rtr.Hitesh informed in detail about their new incoming President Rtr.Mihir.

Rotarian Pavan Chaplot, who is the Assistant District Governor for 2010-11, congratulated us all on the installation event and he also honoured the parents of the members who attended the function. Then the parents of the members gave an inspiring and a thankful speech. The oath ceremony was conducted by Rotarian Pavanji where the following Rotaractors took the oath:
1. Rtr.Ronak Shah - President for Rotaract Club of Ahmedabad West (2010-11).
2. Rtr.Nikita Mavani - Secretary for Rotaract Club of Ahmedabad West (2010-11).
3. Rtr.Vishal - New member of Rotaract Club of Ahmedabad West (2010-11).
4. Rtr.Manasvi - New member of Rotaract Club of Ahmedabad West (2010-11).
5. Rtr.Mihir - President of RCAW (Blind) (2010-11).
6. Rtr.Nissar - Secretary of RCAW (Blind) (2010-11).
7. Rtr.Zelna - New member of RCAW (Blind) (2010-11).
After the oath ceremony, Rotarian Pavanji, gave a very inspiring speech about what the club is for and what the members should and can do for the club. His wishes and anytime support promise made both the club feel strong.
After the installation, refreshment snacks and ice-creams were arranged for all the members, during which a small game was played among all the members/non-members present. Everyone enjoyed the snacks and game simulataneously.

The entire event was ended with the National Anthem.
