PRESIDENT AND SECRETARY MEET OF ZONE-I BY ZRR : AUGUST 29TH, 2010.


ZRR Joel David (Zone-I) had called for a President and Secretary Meet of Zone-I at Rotary Centre, Kankaria on 29th August.

Five Clubs’ President and Secretary attended the Zone meet.
ZRR Joel kept in front of us many important and worth following points. They are precisely shown under:
1. Every club should communicate and try to inform other club about their projects and also inviting them in the same.
2. Every club should try to submit monthly report timely on every first week of Ahmedabad.
3. Suggestion and Bids for The Zonal Meet.

SPEAKER MEET OF ROTARACT CLUB OF KANKARIA : AUGUST 29TH, 2010.


Rotaract club of Kankaria, on 29th August, had organized a Speaker Meet. Rtn.Dharmendra Joshi (of Rotary Club of Kankaria) was the speaker who spoke about Public Relations and Personality Development. Few clubs including our club attended it.

Four members from our club attended it. Rtr.Ronak (President), Rtr.Joel (ZRR Zone-I), Rtr.Vishal and Rtr.Kamlesh attended it. The speech given by Rtn.Dharmendra Joshi was very inspiring. His speech injected enthusiasm and spirit to live life fully and enjoy everyday of the life happily. His guidance about how to communicate, how to interact and how to become extrovert was really appreciable. The points discussed and guided by him can really affect every person listening to him sincerely in his social or professional life.

Rotaract Club of Kankaria, had properly arranged everything and were managed to have a proper Speaker meet.

The event was concluded by an ice-cream.

BOOKS AND STATIONERY DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY AT BIDAJ IN GOVERNMENT SCHOOL :AUGUST 23RD ,2010.


Today, after the eve of Independence Day, exactly after a week, Rotary Club of Ahmedabad West did a benevolent task of distributing books and stationery items to the school students of school in Bidaj village. Our club supported, by attending and working in the stationery distribution programme.

In the ceremony in the government school in Bidaj town, two members of the club attended it. Rtr.Ronak (President) and Rtr.Kamlesh attended the ceremony.

The students of the school performed nice dance and skit. One of the skit performed by them was about public awareness about the bad habit of smoking and tobacco. Moreover, the speech given by the Principal of the School and the Sarpanch of the Village was really inspiring and good. The school had also arranged for lunch for all the people present along with all the students of the school and its members. It is really surprising, that the food was really tasty and perfectly made and served.

In a nutshell, the project turned out to be worth attending and enjoying.

A GENERAL MEETING OF THE CLUB: AUGUST 22nd , 2010.

The club met today to discuss about the participation by Our club in the Project of Rotary Club of Ahmedabad West (Parent club) in the distribution of books and stationery items to the students of Government School in Bidaj town.

The members present, thought and expressed their ideas and views/suggestions as to what could be done for the welfare of the children of the School of Bidaj town where programme of distribution of books and stationery items was about to take place.

SPEAKER MEET AT DEAF-DUMB-BLIND SCHOOL, AHMEDABAD : AUGUST 20TH, 2010.


Rotaract club of Ahmedabad West Blind who on 19th August, had organized an Eye-check up camp at Deaf-Dumb School, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad with Support from Rotary Club of Ahmedabad West, had kept a Speaker Meet.
They invited Dr.Shashank Rathod, Opthamalogist, who gave a very knowledgeable and perfect speech about what is eye, how can it be protected, how it gets damaged and so on. The event was captured by Doordarshan Ahmedabad and was later telecast.

EYE CHECK-UP CAMP AT DEAF-DUMB-BLIND SCHOOL, AHMEDABAD : AUGUST 19TH, 2010.


Rotaract club of Ahmedabad West Blind had organized an Eye-check up camp at Deaf-Dumb School, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad with Support from Rotary Club of Ahmedabad West.

On 19th of August, 2010, Rtr.Ronak (President) and Rtr.Joel (ZRR- Zone-I) attended the camp where all students from the school were checked up one by one by the doctors. Many students were treated on the spot by some liquid medicines poured in their eyes. The doctors also gave some inspirational guidance cum knowledge as to how to care their lovely eyes and improve eye sight for longer terms.

Overall the project was very exciting and good.

FLAG HOISTING CEREMONY AT BIDAJ: AUGUST 15TH ,2010.


Today, on the eve of Independence Day, our club supported, by attending and working in the flag hoisting programme done by Rotary Club of Ahmedabad West at Bidaj in a government school.

In the flag hoisting ceremony in the government school in Bidaj town, three members of the club attended it. Rtr.Joel, Rtr.Kamlesh and Rtr.Nikita (Secretary) attended the ceremony.

One of the new member, Rtr.Kamlesh, who is very active and enthusiastic, had a very nice and memorable experience of a project and what a project happens to be and how all members work together in making it a success.

A GENERAL MEETING OF THE CLUB: AUGUST 8TH , 2010.

The club met today to discuss about the participation by Our club members in the Project of Rotary Club of Ahmedabad West (Parent club) on the eve of Independence Day, 15th August, 2010.

The members present, thought and expressed their ideas and views/suggestions as to what could be done for the welfare of the children of the School of Bidaj town where flat hoisting programme was about to take place.

A GENERAL MEETING OF THE CLUB: AUGUST 1ST, 2010.

The meeting was held as usual at the Rotary Physio Therapy Centre at usual time. In the meeting members had a debate competition about the monsoon season being experienced this time whole India. The debate was well supported and commented by the members present. Moreover, discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of heavy or no rainfall was also done.

Overall the debate competition turned out to be knowledge giving and inspirational to old as well as to the new members.

The general meeting was ended with the National Anthem.

DISTRICT ASSEMBLY AT BIKANER OF ROTARACT CLUB: JULY 24TH AND 25TH, 2010.


The members of our club went to Bikaner at District Assembly of Rotaract Club Dist-3050. Five members Rtr.Ronak (President), Rtr.Nikita (Secretary), Rtr.Joel, Rtr.Ami and Rtr.Vishal were present at the District Assembly.

The event was well organized and a good hospitality was given to all the clubs who had been present there. There our five members as pre-decided and practiced performed a skit of ten to twelve minutes. The skit was based on NATIONAL PLEDGE. The script was written by one of our club member Rtr.Manasvi who unfortunately couldn’t attend the District Assembly. But as per his guidance and direction we were able to give a loud applausing skit. The skit commented on how every line of the pledge is being not followed by our citizen of the country. After the skit was over, Rtr.Joel made all the members of the other clubs to stand and take oath to follow what is mentioned in the national pledge.

The members of all the clubs enjoyed at the dance d.j. party organized by Rotaract Club of Bikaner.

Moreover, after the two day of District Assembly, in the end one of the member of Rotaract Club of Bikaner, Rtr.Abhishek Garg, welcomed us at his home. This was the first time any member of one club inviting so whole heartedly to be his guest. So by respecting his welcome feelings , we went and had a pleasure to meet his family members. Moreover he also took us to have some sight seeing of Bikaner city along with some information about the city.

After that we members went to see the Temple of Karni Mata, which is famous for the mice found everywhere in and out of the temple.

Overall the project was very exciting and good.
